Description
Officers’ pouch belt plate, Royal Cornwall and Devon Miners Artillery Militia, 1855-1873. White metal. Die struck. Within a shield shaped ornamental foliate border, the Arms of Cornwall, with colours indicated in trick. Surmounting the shield the Prince of Wales’s plumes, coronet and motto. Below the shield, a frosted tripartite scroll. Reverse bears four screw nut and washed fittings (one washer missing).
