Description
Officers’ shoulder belt plate, Staffordshire (or King's Own) Militia, 1805 (c). Mounted upon a burnished copper ground, a gilt copper design of the frosted garter surmounted by a crown, bearing the burnished garter motto, enclosing a Staffordshire Knot and above a frosted scroll. Reverse bears two hooks at top and two studs at base.
