Description
Earthenware warming plate associated with the 43rd Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry, 1824-1833. Made by Spode pre-1833, 1830 (c). White earthenware with blue underglaze decoration, the numeral within a crowned garter, inscribed, ‘Bengal Native Infantry’ between laurel sprays.
