Description
Lucknow. Tinted lithograph by E Dolby after Lt William Robert Moorsom, (Oxfordshire) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry), nd. Published by W Dufour, 1857. Shows a view of the river with the iron bridge. Associated with Siege of Lucknow (1857), Indian Mutiny (1857-1859). Moorsom was Deputy Assistant Quarter Master General to Sir Henry Havelock’s force and was killed at Lucknow in 1858.
