Description
The Monarch Diary of 1940 Marked "ADC to GOC 66th Div"; and containing brief entries for 22 Feb - 4 Oct. The diary was kept by Cunningham's ADC, and the Division was based in Cumbria and Lancashire with some units also in Yorkshire. In June it was broken up, and Cunningham and his ADC moved to Scotland to take over 9 Division, re-numbered 51 in August. Associated with World War Two (1939-1945). From papers of Gen Sir Alan Cunningham (1887-1983).
