Woodhouse commanded the 1st Indian Infantry Brigade from November 1941 to June 1943. This image may have been taken whilst he was either in Malaya or Burma. He was mentioned in dispatches three times and had also seen extensive service during the First World War.  Associated with the Second World War (1939-45).
