Button, 1st (King’s) Dragoon Guards
Brass, two-piece, rimless. An eight-pointed ribbed star with the top ray replaced by a Victorian crown, in the centre of the star a garter strap inscribed HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE (Shame be to him who thinks evil of it), in the centre of the strap on a lined ground the letters K over DG, reverse NUTTING * LONDON *.
