The English Constitution governs England, Wales and a few remaining overseas areas.  English, Irish and Scottish lodges all co-existed across the Empire with members meeting and taking part in ceremonies in whichever lodge was available where they were.  Lodges and chapters that can prove they have met continuously can be awarded the right to wear centenary jewels.
