Pattern 1897 Infantry officer’s sword for the Royal Engineers, made by Pooley Sword Limited in July 2024. Straight carbon steel blade with fuller on both sides, double edged towards the spear point, etched with the regimental crest. Steel three-quarter basket hilt with scroll and pierced decoration bearing a crown and the Royal Cypher CRIII. Black fishskin (ray) grip bound with silver plated copper wire.
