Description
Pattern 1896 Cavalry Officer’s sword. Carried by Sir William Peyton, 7th Dragoon Guards. Blade is non regulation for this pattern, with two fullers extending for 13 in from shoulder, double edged at the foible and made by Henry Wilkinson; steel honeysuckle guard, fishskin grip bound with wire, checkered pommel and lower part of back piece.
