Formation badge, The War Office, 1953 (c). A golden shield, on it a smaller blue shield on which are three golden cannon, above the small shield are three cannon balls in blue. Badge is set on a background equally divided into red and dark blue. The badge is based on the arms of the Board of Ordnance.
