"English Twenty" Team Badge (National Rifle Association), 1871.
A circular badge bearing the following cloth and embroidered design.
Within an edging of double row of twisted gold wire: on a white velvet ground, the cross of St George in crimson velvet edged with a triple row of twisted gold wire.
Upon the centre of the cross a rose in silver wire and thread, with details picked out in green and read thread. Upon the backing paper is the inscription, 'English 20' (written twice, once in pencil and once in black ink).
