Court small sword, Royal Company of Archers, worn by Col Montague Gordon Johnstone; blade engraved and etched with decoration, including trophies of arms and the maker’s name, C Smith and Son; knucklebow guard bears three decorated beads, the half-guard is decorated with leaf and thistle designs, and the tang button is thistle shaped; wooden grip bound with copper wire.
