Description
Other ranks’ cap badge worn by WO2 George Lee, Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort’s Own), 1914-1918. White metal. At the centre of an eight-pointed cross with ball-tipped points, between the arms of which are four lions passant gardant, a circlet, within which is a stringed bugle-hon surmounted by a monarchial crown. Surrounding the cross, a laurel wreath upon which are scrolls bearing battle honours. The uppermost ends of the wreath are connected by a tablet and surmounted by a monarchial crown. Below the cross is a scroll. Slider fitting.
