Description
One of a set of eleven garlands presented to Sir Claude and Lady Gidney whilst Sir Claude was British representative in Hyderabad State from 1938 to 1944, all made in Hyderabad State, 1940 (c). Textile and metal. Gold fringed garland with gold ribbon and pink velvet flowers and central pendant tassel.
