Copy photograph from an unknown paper source, relating to the British Salonika Force Memorial ceremonies.
In the photograph Gen Macdonogh is delivering his address before the unveiling of the memorial takes place, 1920 (c)-1929 (c).
From a collection of documents relating to Sgt Thomas William Heybourne, 11th (S) Bn, Royal Welsh Fusiliers who served on the Salonika Front, World War One (1914-1918).
Sgt Heybourne almost certainly served with the Middlesex Yeomanry, but transferred to the 11th (S) Bn of the Welsh Fusiliers, probably in Salonika.
Associated with World War One, Salonika (1914-1918).
