Typescript copy of a letter sent to the McKie family by Lt Col Temple, April 1917. Expresses his sorrow and condolences on the death of Douglas McKie. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes relating to the death of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Sent during 1917-1918. Associated with World War One, Western Front (1914-1918).
