Group photograph of the Depot Companies, Grenadier Guards, October 1937. It shows the 13th and 14th Companies, who had both had success in various sporting competitions that year, including in swimming and water polo. Probably taken at the Guards Depot in Caterham. They pose for the image in 6 rows wearing their scarlet tunics with forage caps. The drummers are obvious with their elaborately braided tunics, whilst the officers in the front row wear blue frock coats. Three sporting trophies sit on the ground in front of them.
