Description
India General Service Medal with North West Frontier clasp of Lieutenant-General Sir Harold Rawdon Briggs, 1924-1931 (c) Silver medal with left facing crowned profile of George V with GEORGIVS. V. D.G BRITT. OMN. REX. ET. INDIAE. IMP. around to obverse. Reverse depicts Jamrud Fort at the Khyber Pass with INDIA below between an open wreath of oak and olive leaves. Rim impressed with Briggs’ rank name and regiment. Suspended with an ornate bar from a dark blue ribbon with a green stripe to each edge, a clasp marked NORTH WEST FRONTIER 1930-31 with rossettes to both lower coners is mounted on the ribbon.
