Manuscript letter from J M Price to Col, actually only Lieutenant Colonel, William Lee, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons at Windsor, 24 Dec 1798 (c). Letter remonstrates with Lee for not having visited his wife despite his own kindness and asks him to caution his men and women from pulling down the paling from the back of his grounds next to the Barracks. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
