Manuscript letter, with the front page cut out, from Thomas Jones at Portsmouth to Lt Col William Lee, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons at Windsor, 12 Feb 1799. Letter discusses a woman and paying her money but is unclear due to missing page, he may be moving to Jamaica. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810.
