Manuscript letter from Joseph Hill, Saville Row, London to Lt Col Sir William Lee, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons at Hartwell, Aylesbury, 11 Nov 1799. He is writing on behalf of the Earl of Macclesfield, Sir John [?] and Sir Phillip Hales, executors of Lady Tyne [?] about a bond for £1500 given to her by Lee’s father and asking him to discharge it as soon as possible. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
