Description
Sword belt, 34th (The Cumberland) Regiment, worn by Maj Henry E Bale, 1856 (c). White patented leather with sword guard. Gilt metal sling fitting, buckle and sword hook. Waist belt clasp, gilt metal belt fitting, foliate design. Gilt metal circlet bears white metal title. Frosted gilt metal centre bears numeral. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
