Description
Typed letter, 29 Jan 1919. Sent by the Central Prisoners of War Committee, London, to Mrs M Cole confirming that her husband Pte C Cole, 7th Bn the Buffs had died in a prisoner of war camp. One of 23 documents relating to Pte Charlie Cole, 7th Bn the Buffs, 1914 (c)-1920. Pte Cole was a prisoner of war in Stendal Prisoner of War Camp and died in a prisoner of war hospital, 17 Sep 1918. From the collection of the former Buffs Regimental Museum.
