Description
Manuscript letter sent to the wife of Lt T O K Cross, written by Capt John Livemore, 1st Bn, Middlesex Regiment and dated 19 Jan 1945. Mostly personal chat. Relating to the service and death of Lt Timothy Oliver Kynaston Cross, Rifle Brigade attached 1st Bn Middlesex Regiment, 1944-1945. Associated with World War Two, North West Europe (1944-1945). Lt Cross died of injuries sustained when his carrier struck a mine, and is buried at Mierlo Cemetery in Holland.
