Front part of a postage free, countersigned ‘ON HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE’ envelope to Alexandria, Egypt, with ‘2 AUST LH BDE [2nd Light Horse Brigade] FIELD PO 11 OC 15 1800’ circular date stamp 23 and ‘PASSED BY CENSOR No 2216 [4th Light Horse Regiment]’ red crown square stamp. From a collection of 31 envelopes and photographic postcards, 1915-1965. All used by Australian and New Zealand forces.
