Description
Colour transparency collected by Mr J W Forsaith to illustrate a lecture ‘Miss Florence Nightingale and her legendary lamp’. Associated with a group painting of the main entrance to the Barrack Hospital depicting the arrival of wounded soldiers from the Crimea, and leading characters of the expedition, painting located in the National Portrait Gallery. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
