Shows a line of men next to a field. From a photograph album containing 328 photographs compiled by Maj Wilfred Herbert James Sale, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), 1938-1940. With captions taken from separate index volume. The 3rd County of London Yeomanry (3rd Sharpshooters) War Diary for 1939 records that the unit moved billets from the seaside town of Minehead in Somerset to Ilfracombe in Devon on 26 September 1939. The War Diary refers to A Squadron being billeted in ‘numbers 3, 8, 11,14, and 15 Montpelier Terrace’. Associated with World War Two (1939-1945).
