Letter written in response to Cockburn"s request for leave of absence for Major Custance of Norfolk Militia and D Brownrigg, Surgeon to the Forces. The Commander in Chief, Sir David Dundas, has approved. The author writes to explain arrangements for cover and pay, and a further request that is outstanding.
