Button, 15th The (King’s) Hussars
Brass, rimless. A garter strap inscribed Hon Soit Qui Mal Y Pense (Shame on him who thinks evil of it), in the centre of the strap the Royal crest of a lion standing on a Tudor crown, around the bottom of the strap a three-part scroll, the left-hand side inscribed THE KINGS and the right-hand one inscribed HUSSARS, the middle part is blank.  Reverse marked STOHWASSER AND CO • LONDON • (the O in CO is smaller and raised).
