Description
Group photograph of British and Indian officers of the 37th Lancers (Baluch Horse), 1910 (c). During the 1900s the regiment served on the North West Frontier and in 1919 took part in the Third Afghan War. In 1921 the regiment was amalgamated with the 17th Cavalry to form the 17th/37th Lancers. From a collection of photographs, 1905-1915. Associated with J Talbot, R Sweeney, World War One, Mesopotamia (1914-1918). Associated units include 37th Lancers, Indian Army Service Corps, Royal West Kent Regiment and Imperial Service Lancers.
