Manuscript letter written by Herbert G Newling on 11 Nov 1966 to Lady Violet Asquith explaining how burials took place in France and that the grave marker of her brother Raymond (3rd Bn, Grenadier Guards) had not survived, whilst also thanking her for her letter. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
