Photograph of the inspection of the 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards by Lieutenant General Sir George Weir, General Officer Commanding the British Troops in Egypt, 1936 (c). They line up in several lines wearing khaki drill and pith helmets. Several barrack building surround them with the sea beyond. From an album containing 90 photographs compiled and presented by Lt-Col J R S Besly, Grenadier Guards, entitled: ‘Egypt 1936’, but covering the 2nd Battalion during 1935-1937.
