Button, Berwick, Haddington, Linlithgow and Peebles Militia, 1802-1855
One-piece, gilt, open backed, domed, rimless. St Andrews saltire, with clusters of rays between the arms thereon, the top ray replaced by a crown. In the centre a circle, bearing the motto Nemo Me Impune Lacessit (No one provokes me with Impunity) within the circle a two-leaf thistle. Around the bottom edge the word Berwickshire.  Reverse marked Firmin & Sons London.
