Description
Helmet badge, 33rd Regiment of Madras Infantry, 1885-1890. Brass badge in the form of a garter bearing the battle honour, ‘Cochin’, with the regimental number in Roman numerals, ’XXXIII’, on an open ground, surmounted by an Imperial crown. Associated with 33rd (3rd Burma Bn) Madras Infantry (1891-1901). From the J L Chapple Indian Army Collection.
