Description
Cap badge, 33rd Regiment (3rd Burma Battalion) of Madras Infantry, 1890-1901. Bronze badge in the form of circlet bearing the title, ‘Madras Infantry XXXIII’, with a displaying peacock in the centre on an open ground, with a scroll bearing the title, ‘III Burma Battn’, surmounted by an Imperial crown. Associated with 33rd (3rd Burma Bn) Madras Infantry (1891-1901). From the J L Chapple Indian Army Collection.
