Letter from Julian Steele to Maj Augustus Francis Andrew Nicol Thorne, 19 Dec 1921.
Written in expectation that Thorne would be installed in a post at Aldershot.
From correspondence of Maj Augustus Francis Andrew Nicol Thorne with various people, 5 Aug 1921-25 Jan 1922.
Concerning his next appointment upon graduation from the Staff College, Thorne is reluctant to accept the post of General Services Officer 2 at London District Headquarters, and would prefer to become Brigade Major of the Guards Depot at Aldershot.
