Letter from Maj Gen G D Jeffreys to Maj Augustus Francis Andrew Nicol Thorne, nd.
Trying to piece together a timetable which would allow Thorne to move from the General Services Officer 2 post to Aldershot painlessly.
From correspondence of Maj Augustus Francis Andrew Nicol Thorne with various people, 5 Aug 1921-25 Jan 1922.
Concerning his next appointment upon graduation from the Staff College, Thorne is reluctant to accept the post of General Services Officer 2 at London District Headquarters, and would prefer to become Brigade Major of the Guards Depot at Aldershot.
