Letter to Brig Gen Maurice Lilburn MacEwen, 16th (The Queen’s) Lancers from Col Stephen Frewen (later Frewen-Laton), former commanding officer of the 16th Lancers, Wincanton, 11 April 1914. Reports news from Frewen’s future son-in-law Edward Carson, the Unionist leader, who had been staying with him for a few days. Associated with Curragh Incident (1914), Ireland (1914-1915).
