Description
Manuscript General Order from ‘Headquarters Lisbon’ in an unknown hand, dated 11 Oct 1808. The order specifies the required numbers of horses and mules for a regiment in the field. It also identifies the need for a cart to transport medical supplies. From a collection of papers relating to Gen Sir Galbraith Lowry Cole. Associated with the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and the Napoleonic Wars, Waterloo (1815).
