Description
Hand coloured engraved plate, full dress jacket, Northumberland Newcastle Yeomanry. Double breasted jackets for Light Dragoons were introduced in 1829. The Northumberland Yeomanry retained this pattern jacket until replaced by tunics in the early 1860s. From one of three volumes of Yeomanry uniform patterns, early nineteenth century.
