Letter, 6 Mar 1795. Sent from Lt Col Henry Calvert, Coldstream Guards and Aide de Camp to the Duke of York, in London to Lt Gen Colin Campbell when a Lt Col of the 44th (East Essex) Regiment of Foot in Holland. Letter informs him HRH the Duke of York will recommend him to King George III’s notice. Associated with Wars of the French Revolution, Netherlands (1793-1795).
