Letter to Brig Gen Maurice Lilburn MacEwen, 16th (The Queen’s) Lancers from Col Stephen Frewen (later Frewen-Laton), former commanding officer of the 16th Lancers, Wincanton, 15 April 1914. Discusses the political side to Home Rule, expects to see Frewen’s future son-in-law Edward Carson (the Unionist leader) the next week. Associated with Curragh Incident (1914), Ireland (1914-1915).
