Photograph of the grave of Lt Gus Sander in North Korea. Sander’s was killed on patrol and was dead on the arrival of the Regimental Medical Officer, Dr Stanley Boydell (?), 30 Oct. Sander was buried nearby the following day and his body was not recovered after the termination of hostilities. From a collection of 22 photographs taken by Dr Stanley Boydell, Regimental Medical Officer, 1st Bn Middlesex Regiment, Korean War, 1950.
