Description
Franked envelope associated with a letter sent to the wife of Lt T O K Cross, written by Capt John Livemore, 1st Bn, Middlesex Regiment and dated 1 Feb 1945. Relating to the service and death of Lt Timothy Oliver Kynaston Cross, Rifle Brigade attached 1st Bn Middlesex Regiment, 1944-1945. Associated with World War Two, North West Europe (1944-1945). Lt Cross died of injuries sustained when his carrier struck a mine, and is buried at Mierlo Cemetery in Holland.
