Typescript biography of William L Anningson, Inspector of Police. Anningson died of Small Pox, 21 May 1871, and was buried on Stonecutter’s Island, the only burial known to have taken place there. From a collection of papers relating to the history of Stonecutter’s Island, Hong Kong 1844-1993; the depot of the Hong Kong Military Service Corps was located on Stonecutter’s Island.
