Letter sent to Helen McKie from Clifford Shields, April 1917. Asks if the D H McKie in ‘The Times’ casualty list is her brother, Douglas McKie. With envelope. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes relating to the death of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Sent during 1917-1918. Associated with World War One, Western Front (1914-1918).
