Sent from Lord Mahon on board the HMS Brune to Lt Gen Colin Campbell when Governor General of Gibraltar.
Letter inquires about the spread of disease, presumably yellow fever, on Gibraltar and informs Campbell of the change of administration in England and about the plague on Malta. Lord Mahon hopes to get to England by way of Lisbon and offers to give Campbell any news he needs about Sicily.
