Addressed to R F Eve, Esq., Ardmore, Harrow View, Harrow, Middlesex.
Sent by Lt Gen E Bethune, Director General of the Territorial Force at the War Office, London, in which he makes reference to the application that Mr R Eve submitted on behalf of his son Mr W F Eve for employment in a provisional Battalion or some other capacity. 
He goes on to inform him that his son’s services cannot be utilised, as he has been found permanently unfit for service abroad or at home.
