Letter from 23207 L/Cpl Frank Bentley, 2nd Bn Grenadier Guards, to his brother Cpl Arthur Bentley, Royal Army Medical Corps; written from Chelsea Barracks, postmarked 8 Dec 1915; Frank advises Arthur of when he expects to be home on leave and that he may be sent to France before Christmas; Frank Bentley was killed in action at Gauche Wood, near Gouzeaucourt, 1 Dec 1917; his name appears on the Cambrai Memorial, Louveral.
